01 Who we are
Offerslide is run by Helgi Þór Jóhannsson, Hveragerði, Iceland. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean Helgi Þór Jóhannsson. "You" means the person or business that signs up and uses Offerslide to send proposals.
You can reach us at helgitj@vaki.chat.
02 What the service is
Offerslide lets a business write a proposal with prices in it and send it to a client as a link. The client can tick the optional lines, accept it, or ask a question. Prices are fixed.
We provide the tool. The deal itself is between you and your client. We are not a party to it, we do not check it, and we are not responsible for whether either side keeps to it.
03 Your account
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a contract for your business.
- Give us accurate details and keep them up to date.
- Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- If you add people to a team, you are responsible for what they do in it.
- Tell us straight away at helgitj@vaki.chat if you think someone else has got into your account.
04 Proposals and acceptance
You are responsible for everything in the proposals you send: the prices, the descriptions, the terms, and whether they are lawful and accurate.
The price of a proposal is fixed. Your client can tick or untick the optional lines you offered and accept the total, or ask you a question. A proposal that is accepted holds at that total.
When a client accepts, they sign by typing their name. We keep a record of the name, the time, the network (IP) address it came from, and what was agreed. Whether a typed name is a binding signature for your kind of deal depends on the law where you and your client are. If it matters for your business, check it.
05 AI helpers
Some plans include AI helpers: translation of proposals and messages, and drafting a proposal from a voice note. When you use them, the text or audio involved is sent to our AI provider to produce the result (see the Privacy policy).
AI output can be wrong. A translation can miss a nuance, a draft can get a price wrong, a suggested reply can be a bad idea. Check everything before you send it. You are responsible for what you send, whoever or whatever wrote the first draft.
06 Your content
What you put into Offerslide stays yours: your proposals, your logo, your client list. You give us permission to store it, process it and show it to the people you send it to, only so we can run the service for you.
You must have the right to use everything you upload, and you must have a lawful reason to give us your clients' names and email addresses. You can ask us for a copy of it, or for it to be deleted, at helgitj@vaki.chat.
07 Things you must not do
- Send proposals that are fraudulent, misleading, or for anything illegal.
- Use Offerslide to send spam or to contact people who have not asked to hear from you.
- Try to break, overload, or get around the security of the service, or get at other people's data.
- Copy, resell or rebuild the service, or use it to build a competing one.
08 Plans and payment
The Free plan costs nothing and has the limits shown on the Pricing page. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance.
Payments are handled by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd), which acts as the reseller for our paid plans. When you buy a plan, you buy it from Paddle, and Paddle's own terms apply to the payment. Paddle collects any sales tax or VAT due.
You can cancel at any time from Settings. Your plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for and then moves to Free. You can ask for a full refund within 14 days of your first payment for a plan, no questions asked: write to us or ask Paddle. After that we do not refund the current period, except where the law says we must.
We may change our prices. We will tell you at least 30 days before a change affects what you pay.
09 Keeping it running
We work hard to keep Offerslide available and your data safe, but we cannot promise it will never be down or never have a fault. We may change or improve features over time. If we plan to remove something important from a paid plan, we will tell you first.
10 Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, such as for death or injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Apart from that: we are not liable for lost profits, lost deals, or indirect losses, and our total liability to you in any 12 months is limited to what you paid us in that period, or 100 euros if that is more.
11 Ending the agreement
You can close your account at any time by writing to helgitj@vaki.chat.
We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts other people at risk, or has not paid. Where it is fair to, we will warn you first and give you a chance to fix it. After an account closes, we delete its content within 30 days, except what we must keep by law.
12 Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you by email or in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you keep using Offerslide after that, the new terms apply.
13 Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of Iceland, and the courts of Iceland deal with any dispute. If you have a problem, please write to helgitj@vaki.chat first. Most things are quicker to sort out that way.
